Serious games are an effective way to engage learners and instill new concepts through play. Play theory as a learning technique has been around for a long time, and research shows that a positive play-like experience can not only help learners understand new concepts, but also increase retention of those concepts.
Tandem Learning has created serious games designed for online play as well as live settings. We have also designed and implemented Alternate Reality Games (ARGs) to address organizational learning goals. This type of multiplayer game is an experience that merges real world activities and online media through a storyline.

Live Workshops
Lecture is not the most effective use of time that managers have with their team in live workshops.
